Govrn White Paper: Collective Intelligence - Lit Review
"Startups don't repeat themselves, but they do rhyme"- Mark Twain
Like all great ideas, we build on ideas and research from those that came before us. Our journey started where the last great leaders left off and we’re grateful for their contributions. We wanted to do a literature review that summarizes the different projects and areas of research that Govrn leverages, and subsequently, show how Govrn uses them.
The next section of the White Paper will be a literature review and the first area of research being covered is “Collective Intelligence”.
Literature Review Pt 1: Collective Intelligence
It’s been awesome seeing how the community has engaged in the white paper over the past couple of months. One of the biggest trends we’ve noticed is how often our community members will reference existing fields of research, ideas, or projects that leverage similar concepts to Govrn. One area we’ve heard referenced a lot is Collective Intelligence.
We’d been wanting to do a literature review on this topic for a while, so we’re happy to finally get it out for open source contributions.
We want all types of contributions
This section is a little different than the other sections. Not only do we want help on what we’re writing or how it applies to Govrn, but also references to your favorite collective intelligence papers. One of our favorites is this “Jelly Bean” example.
So as you contribute to the paper, please send us or comment below with your favorite collective intelligence research, projects, and papers so we’re able to incorporate them.
Spread the love!!
We figure that the best time to increase the number of contributors we have is on the paper about collective intelligence!! The more heads we have working on this the better, so please share our white paper with others and invite them to contribute.
This way we can ensure we’re making the best white paper possible.
Talk to you soon.
